Sean McGuire and Billy Schwartz produced hat trick efforts for the Crusaders while Kevin Switzer netted two goals and distributed five assists. Alex Brown scored twice and dished off an assist while James Collins, Bill DiScola, Tom Karol and Brendan McGuire added solo goals. Matt Brodly tallied three goals and passed off an assist as Pascack Valley Valley routed Northern Valley/Demarest 13-1 on Thursday (April 8). Jope Farinlli, Kurtis Kulvert, Frank Merli and Justin Sanseri tallied two goals each with Kulbert credited with three assists. Matt Cachinta supplied the firepower, scoring four goals and dishing off an assist to propel Paramus Catholic to a 7-2 conquest of Northern Valley/Old Tappan on Tuesday (April 6). Eric LiDrizzi, Greg Russello and Andrew Stewart completed the scoring with solo goals while goalkeeper Shane Kaminski made 10 saves. In a defensive battle, St. Joseph Regional/Montvale pulled out to a 4-2 triumph over Bergen Tech on Saturday (April 10), Chris Wright started between the pipes for the Green Knights, stopping 10 shots on goal before Eddie Egan took over and made a save. Tyler Vamenschaten netted two goals with Kevin Cleary and Pat Harrington providing solo goals. Neil Jade excelled in the goal for the Knights, making 18 saves to keep the outcome in doubt. Joe Hasselmann and Tim Miller turned in hat trick performances to spur unbeaten Glen Rock to a 9-4 triumph over Nyack (NY) on Saturday (April 3). In addition to his three goals, Miller distributed a pair of assists while Hasselmen collected an assist with his trio of goals as the Panthers surged to a 4-0 by the end of the opening quarter. Glen Rock trounced Union City 17-2 to open the 2010 campaign two days earlier as Pat Egan and Hasselman tallied three goals apiece. The Panthers exploded to a 7-1 lead entering the second quarter and led 12-2 by the halftime break. Alli Re added two goals with Alicia Henneberry completing the scoring parade with a solo goal. Goalkeeper Katie Viducic made seven saves as Indian Hills remained unbeaten at 5-0-0. Melanie Everett scored four times and dished off an assist as the Academy of Holy Angels defeated Paramus Catholic 12-3 on Tuesday (April 13). Kaitlyn Sarr netted two goals with Breanna Cerniglia, Shelia Hill, Caitlin Keane, Hayley McGlone, the Russos, Christine and Kate, as well as Kathleen Vincentz contributing solo goals to the scoring parade. Glen Rock rallied from a 805 deficit at halftime to defeat Millburn 19-14 on Tuesday (April 14) as Meg Callanan riddled the Millers’ cage with seven goals and was credited with a pair of assists. Valerie Litt chipped in with five goals and an assist while Kelsey Yenco contributed four goals and four assists and Brittany Kitchen scored twice. Fair Lawn remained unbeaten at 5-0 as goalkeeper Melissa VanderTeems made six saves in a 5-4 conquest of Pascack Valley on Tuesday (April 13). Jamie Bogert and Keri Meerholz netted two goals apiece with Angeline Graff scoring once. Ridgewood defeated Montclair 14-3 on Tuesday (April 13) as Isabel Sipple stopped six shots on goal before giving way to Zoe Ferguson who made three saves between the pipes. Sally Jentis tallied three goals with Caitlin Concillio and Kelci Smesko chipping in with two goals apiece. Samantha Cermack, Caitlin Daniels, Samantha Giordano, Kimberly Lupo, Jess Miller, Paige Pearson and Lindsay Weiner added solo goals. With three players producing hat trick performances, Immaculate Heart Academy trounced Northern Highlands 17-4 on Saturday (April 10). Emily Doyle excelled for the Blue Eagles, scoring four times and distributing three assists. Turning in hat trick efforts were Cynthia Cain and Alyssa D’Amico turned ion hat trick performances to spur Mahwah to a 14-5 conquest of Pascack Valley on Wednesday (April 7). Cain and D’Amico tallied three goals apiece while Kayla Cillentu and Antonetta Djanovic added two goals apiece to the margin of victory. Michelle Certosima, Lauren Morlino, Nikki Salute and Emily Secor added solo goals to the scoring parade while Kristen Tremblay was credited with a pair of assists. Two days later, the Lady Thunderbirds exploded to a 11-0 lead by the halftime break in defeating Paramus Catholic 12-0. Esther Kim, who stopped four shots on goal, and Reagan Vier who made a save, combined on the shutout between the pipes. D’Amico scored three times with Certosimo, Alexa Freguletti and Secor chipping in with two goals each. Stephanie Beneduci scored four times and dished off an assist while Lauren Schmidt netted three goals and distributed an assist to propel Bergen Tech to a 12-4 triumph over Dwight-Englewood on Wednesday (April 7). Kathleen Corres added two goals with Jennifer Plattel adding a goal and Carla Larin contributing two assists. On Friday (April 9), the Lady Knights vanquished Northern Valley/Old Tappan 10-7 as Benedict tallied four goals. Rebecca Dillon and Karin added two goals apiece.
